You asked for it, so here it is:

GOD'S OWN MARINADE [1]

• 1 1/2 cups oil (pick your favourite)
• 2 heaped teaspoons mustard powder
• 1/3 cup lemon juice
• 1 clove garlic
• 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce (known by riff-raff as "black sauce")
• 1/2 to 3/4 cup soy sauce (depends on how much you like soy sauce)
• 1 teaspoon salt
• pepper to taste
• 1/2 cup wine vinegar
• 1 1/2 teaspoons parsley (flakes if you like)

Put all ingredients in a big jar and shake until mixed.

The cheapest, toughest steak will become a gustatory masterpiece after soaking in this baby for 24 hours (don't forget to turn it over half way through)! Be careful, though: after treatment, the steak will not take much to cook, so be gentle!!
